I don’t know who I am anymore because — drummmmm rolllll — I’ve started a YouTube channel. And it’s already terrible. But that means it can (hopefully) only go up from here.
Why have I started a YouTube channel, you ask? There are a number of reasons, first and foremost, because it terrifies me. I’m on a mission to get out of my comfort zone this year and I thought to myself, “Meghan, why not broadcast your awkwardness for all the world to see.” And so I have with my debut video. Be warned.
Secondly, it goes with my new gung-ho attitude revolving around the simple phrase, “START NOW.” If you want to do something — even something you didn’t think you wanted to do — you’ll never actually do it unless you start it.
Lastly, as I wrote last week, I’m doing a self-imposed challenge I’ve dubbed my “March Break,” and I couldn’t think of a better way to document it. After all, I theoretically should have the free time to do it.
There are more reasons why I’ve created a YouTube channel, all of which I’ll eventually address there, but for the meantime these are the most immediate ones. I hope you decide to join me on this new platform! I need your help to make it better, so feel free to impart some much-needed constructive criticism :).
