I’ve been a huge fan of Body Blitz for a few years now. To me, it offers the entire experience. People who book a spa appointment are encouraged to use the waters beforehand, which is a good extra hour and a half of therapeutic relaxation. As for the services themselves? I’ve yet to have a bad massage there.
This time around, however, I tried something different: the Sweet Ginger + Milk Body Glow. And before that, I was lucky enough to experience The Works at Blitz Facial Bar.
Sweet Ginger + Milk Body Glow
I’ve always thought that massages were the ultimate relaxing experience. Of course, I’ve never really given meditation a chance. That aside, 60 minutes of a scrub down followed by gentle warm milk mixed with sweet orange, vanilla and grape seed oil poured over your body and finished with a simple massage may be an even more tranquil treat.
Not to mention that afterwards I was glowing as though I was given a fresh set of skin. The treatment was especially great for me as I do tend to suffer from dry skin. In addition to hydrating, it’s also meant to tighten and smooth everything out, which is exactly what I found happened for me.
The Works Facial
Over the last few weeks my face has been acting up, either with small bumps or dry patches. So I was in desperate need of some TLC. I couldn’t think of a better place to go than Blitz Facial Bar. My first experience there was memorable for its convenience. This time around, however, I wanted to do something a little more in depth.
In addition to the essentials (cleanse, exfoliate, mask, tone, argan serum massage and hydration), I also enjoyed extraction and my first microdermabrasion — which was surprisingly soothing. This was followed by a Plump It Up booster shot. It was chosen for me based on a brief assessment of my skin before getting underway with the treatment as a whole. This attentiveness is what sets Blitz Facial apart from other spas. There’s a sense of personalization that ensures people walk out feeling confident their treatment was worth it.
